Who owns the data in PlyOps?
PlyOps Free includes generic CSV export and versioned JSON backup. Marketplace-formatted exports and connected listing actions are paid because they transform or send data for a specific provider.

CSV export and JSON backup are free
PlyOps Free includes generic data export for backup and ownership. The product does not require a cloud subscription simply to download product-library data in CSV or create a JSON backup.
Marketplace export is a different service
A marketplace export maps PlyOps fields into a provider's required format, checks required listing fields, and may use listing IDs or a connected account. It requires PlyOps Connect. Free users can still store marketplace copy and copy individual fields.
Backups should remain understandable
The JSON format is versioned. Restore starts with a preview that reports additions, merges, skips, and records left untouched. Unsupported or malformed backups stop before data is written.
Local storage still needs a backup habit
Local browser data is not a cloud backup. Clearing site data or losing the device can remove it. Download JSON backups regularly or use PlyOps Cloud for automatic hosted backup and multi-device sync.
Paid Cloud includes a defined exit path
When paid Cloud access ends, Cloud editing stops and a 30-day owner recovery window opens. The account page provides the browser-compatible JSON backup, the complete Cloud records archive, the original-file ZIP, and a verified move to one Free Local browser. PlyOps sends notices when the window opens, seven days before it closes, and one day before it closes.
The deadline ends self-service recovery. It does not automatically delete the retained Cloud copy; reactivation, account-specific support, and whole-account deletion remain available.

Is export paywalled?
Generic CSV export and JSON backup are available in PlyOps Free. Marketplace-specific files, API actions, and listing mappings require Connect because they transform data for a provider or use a connected account.
What is the difference between CSV and JSON export?
CSV is for spreadsheet review and general portability. JSON is the versioned workspace backup used for preview and restore of the complete supported local data model.
Will restoring a backup erase newer local records?
The restore flow previews the result and merges by ID. It adds missing records and leaves unrelated local-only records in place instead of requiring a full clear first.
Can I recover Cloud data after a subscription ends?
Yes. The owner receives recovery notices and has 30 days to download a browser-compatible JSON backup, a complete Cloud records archive, and original files, or move the verified Cloud copy into one browser for Free Local use. The deadline ends self-service recovery and does not automatically delete retained Cloud data.
