How do PlyOps marketplace integrations work?
PlyOps Connect imports listings, matches them to products and variants, prepares provider files, and performs only the listing actions shown for that marketplace. No connection authorizes background publishing or live inventory control.

Marketplace actions
Shopify
Available with ConnectReviewed imports, listing links, prep files, unpublished drafts, confirmed linked updates, and refresh are available with PlyOps Connect.
eBay
Available with ConnectReviewed imports, listing links, preparation files, confirmed linked-offer updates, read-only refresh, and separately confirmed new live listings are available with PlyOps Connect.
Etsy
Available with ConnectReviewed imports, listing links, preparation files, Etsy drafts, confirmed linked updates, and read-only refresh are available with PlyOps Connect. Activation remains inside Etsy.
Start with a local product source
Products and variants remain the source record. Marketplace IDs and listing links are stored separately so an external listing can be matched without turning the marketplace model into the core data model.
Review before import or change
Imports surface exact, likely, possible, and new matches. The seller confirms links and field conflicts before data is written. Supported updates use a fresh comparison before confirmation.
Do not treat every marketplace the same
A preparation file is not an account connection. A read-only refresh is not a listing update. An unpublished draft is not a live listing. PlyOps labels those states separately.
Common questions
Why are different actions available for each marketplace?
Marketplace APIs, approval status, and draft models differ. PlyOps lists Shopify, eBay, and Etsy actions separately instead of treating every connection as the same.
Can every plan save marketplace-specific copy?
Yes. Every plan can store and copy individual marketplace fields. Provider-formatted exports and connected listing actions require PlyOps Connect.
Will PlyOps publish a live listing automatically?
No. A supported listing action shows a preview and requires confirmation. PlyOps leaves an action unavailable when provider access or release requirements are not complete.
