What is marketplace listing preparation?

PlyOps stores channel-specific content, checks required fields, matches existing listings, and prepares exports or confirmed listing actions. Nothing is published in the background.

Prepare channel-specific content

Keep a general product description while storing titles, descriptions, tags, attributes, and SEO details for each supported marketplace. Imported descriptions are routed to the matching marketplace slot instead of silently replacing general copy.

  • Review required fields before an action
  • Copy individual saved fields on every plan
  • Keep marketplace identifiers separate from core product data
  • Preserve the parent product and variant relationship

Review matches and changes

Connected imports use listing and variant identifiers, SKUs, names, options, and other signals to surface likely matches. The seller confirms what belongs together and reviews conflicts before data is written.

Updates use a fresh comparison so the intended change is visible before confirmation. Capability status still depends on the marketplace.

Keep provider limits visible

Shopify, eBay, and Etsy do not provide the same listing actions. PlyOps documents each provider separately and does not present a preparation file as an API connection.

Common questions

Does PlyOps publish listings automatically?

No. Connected actions require the supported provider, the right plan, a preview, validation, and explicit confirmation. Provider limitations are shown on each integration page.

Can Free users save Etsy, Shopify, or eBay copy?

Yes. Every plan can store marketplace-specific content and copy individual saved fields. Marketplace-formatted exports and connected listing actions belong to PlyOps Connect.

Does PlyOps manage live marketplace quantities?

No. Marketplace links are for identity, content mapping, import safety, and reviewed listing work, not live inventory management.
